Doxycycline binds to the 30S ribosomal subunit of bacteria, preventing the attachment of transfer RNA (tRNA) and inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis. This action stops bacterial growth, making it an effective bacteriostatic antibiotic.

Dosage & Administration:
