Dosage & Administration:
- Active TB Treatment (in combination therapy):
- Children: 10-15 mg/kg/day (max: 300 mg/day) for 6 months or more
- Adults: 5 mg/kg/day (max: 300 mg/day) for 6 months or more
• Latent TB Infection (LTBI) Treatment: - Children & Adults: 5 mg/kg/day (max: 300 mg/day) for 6-9 months
• TB Prophylaxis for High-Risk Patients: - Same as LTBI treatment
• Administration: - Take on an empty stomach (1 hour before or 2 hours after meals)
- Shake well before use
- Ensure adherence to the full course for optimal results
Precautions & Warnings:
⚠ Monitor liver function regularly—can cause hepatotoxicity
