Mechanism of Action:
Gamabenzene Hexachloride works by penetrating the exoskeleton of parasites and interfering with their nervous system, leading to paralysis and death.
Cetrimide, a quaternary ammonium compound, exhibits broad-spectrum antiseptic activity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Together, they cleanse, disinfect, and treat infestations while helping prevent secondary bacterial infections.

Dosage & Administration:
For scabies: Apply a thin layer of the emulsion to the entire body from neck down (and scalp if required in children), leave on for 8–10 hours or overnight, and wash off with soap and water. Usually, a single application is effective; repeat only if prescribed.
For lice: Apply to dry hair and scalp, leave for 4–5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Comb through to remove dead lice and nits.
Avoid contact with eyes, nose, mouth, and mucous membranes.
Precautions & Warnings:
- For external use only
- Not recommended for infants under 2 years of age
- Do not use on broken, inflamed, or weeping skin
- Use with caution in individuals with a history of seizures or skin hypersensitivity
- Avoid repeat applications unless medically indicated
- Keep away from open flame as the product is combustible
Side Effects:
Most common side effects are mild and self-limiting, including:
- Local skin irritation or burning sensation
- Dryness or redness
- Itching or rash
Rarely, systemic absorption (especially in infants or overuse) may lead to neurotoxicity—always use strictly as prescribed.
Storage:
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep the bottle tightly closed and protected from light. Do not refrigerate. Keep out of reach of children.
