Description

Indications:

✔ Cutaneous candidiasis
✔ Athlete’s foot (Tinea pedis)
✔ Ringworm (Tinea corporis)
✔ Jock itch (Tinea cruris)
✔ Seborrheic dermatitis
✔ Pityriasis versicolor

Mechanism of Action:

Ketoconazole inhibits the enzyme lanosterol 14α-demethylase, which blocks the synthesis of ergosterol, a key component of the fungal cell membrane, leading to cell leakage and death.
