Description
Mechanism of Action:
- Fluconazole inhibits cytochrome P450-dependent fungal enzymes, preventing ergosterol formation, leading to disruption of fungal cell membranes and cell death.

Dosage & Administration:

• Route of Administration: Oral
• Food Intake: Can be taken with or without food.

- Use with caution in patients with hepatic impairment.
• May interact with warfarin, rifampin, and oral hypoglycemics.
• Avoid alcohol consumption during treatment.
